He was predeceased by: his parents, Numa Randolph McMasters and Ina Davis McMasters; his daughter Brenda Gayle McMasters; and his siblings, Treva Davis and James McMasters.
He is survived by: his children, Randal McMasters (Karen) and Janice Johnson (Mike); his grandchildren, Justin Apple (Stephanie), Jennifer Keeney (Dan), David McMasters, Catherine McMasters (James Schmidt) and Jason Johnson (Lindy); and his great grandchildren, Ella Jane, Jay, Avett Keeney, Hunter, Hensley Apple and Rachel Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Christian Church c/o the Building Fund, 2030 Carolina Rd., Burlington, NC 27217.
