With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Young of Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Eugene Beal; her husband Howard Wayne Young; her daughter Joy Horner; and her siblings, Tom Beal, Jimmy Beal, Samuel "Punk" Beal, Carolee Dowd, Hazel Johnson and Loris Whitaker.
She is survived by: her mother Etta Moore Beal; her children, Jeffrey Wayne Young (Gail) and Bonnie Young Minnich (Dave); her grandchildren, John Wayne Strickland, Cynthia Inman, Christy Strickland and Amy Horner; and her son-in-law Mark Horner. She is also survived by her loving great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
