She was predeceased by: her son Steven Curtis. She is survived by: her husband Charlie "Butch" McLendon II; her son Jay Curtis (Sherri) of Graham; her grandchildren, Hunter, Madeline and Grayson Curtis; her siblings, Carol W. Mitchell of Snow Camp and Howard R. Whitt (Lisa) of Blanch; and her niece April Cutter (Todd) of Burlington.
