With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Holt Barnwell of Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Shoffner Barnwell; his parents, Jule Carr Barnwell and Elizabeth Wade Barnwell; and his siblings, Revonda Mosher and Thomas Barnwell.

He is survived by: his daughters, Adrienne Barnwell Rice (Raymond F. "Trey") and Rice, III of Burlington; his sister Judy C. Barnwell of Burlington; his siblings-in-law, Sue Barnwell of Burlington and William Mosher of Maryland; and his pet Mei. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
