She was predeceased by: her husband Sgt. Robert Emil Bolen, Sr.; her parents, Okey Ashcraft and Mary Phyllis Pierce Ashcraft; her son David Ross Bolen, Sr.; and her grandson Michael Brandon Hogen.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Bolen of Graham, NC, Robert Bolen, Jr. of Osprey, FL, Brenda Bolen Kolp of Sebring, FL and Richard Bolen of Saltville, VA. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
