She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Doris Schronce and Drucilla Everhart Schronce Tapp. She is survived by: her husband Benny Brooks; her children, Cissy Beck (Jim) of Mebane and Charlie Brooks (Jennifer) of Burlington; her brother Johnny Schronce (Mary) of Newport; and her grandchildren, Carleigh Brooks, Bailey Beck, Lexi Bryan (Dylan), Riley Beck, Kelci Brooks and Caden Brooks.
