He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Twyman Quakenbush and Gayrene Johnson Quakenbush; his wife Carol Quakenbush; his children, Brian Quakenbush (Jenny) of Roanoke and Carla McVey (Darrell) of Snow Camp; his grandchildren, Jason Quakenbush, Sam Quakenbush, Andrew Quakenbush, Amy McVey and Nicholas McVey; and his great grandchildren, Shawn McVey, Jackson McVey, Tysor McVey and Annemarie Allison.
