She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Ronald Hamby Sr.; her parents, Katie Sutton and Charles Toney Sr.; and her siblings, Mary Ruth Gates, Charles Toney Jr. and David Sutton.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Hamby Jr. (Jeanetta Hamby) of Reidsville and Jerry Hamby of Graham; her sisters, Rosaline Bush and Judy Carol Gerringer; and her granddaughters, Christine Stone (Andy Stone), Holly Stout (Greg Stout) and Tabatha Brown (Kyle Brown).
