He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Harrison Overman and Myrtle Allen Overman; and his daughter Teresa Darlene Overman. He is survived by: his children, Richard Overman (Lisa) of Swepsonville, Michael W. Overman of Graham, Steve Overman of Burlington and Tammy Overman (Larry Jones) of Burlington; and his former wife Peggy Jones Westbrook. He is also survived by nine brothers; five sisters; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
