We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2018, at the age of 86, Betty Brooks (Graham, North Carolina), born in Alamance, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John David and Nettie Viola Cartwright Hurlocker; her daughter Sherry Lee Jeffreys; her siblings, Faye H. Patton, Margaret H. Squires, Ruby H. Taylor, Wallace Hurlocker and John David Hurlocker, Jr.; and her half-brother Alex Dawkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Victor Graham Jeffreys, Blaine Jeffreys of Mebane, David Jeffreys (Julie) of Roxboro and Scott Jeffreys (Malia) of Statesville; and her sister Arlene Brooks (Wayne) of Greensboro. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
