It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bessie Collins (Graham, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Floyd and Nellie Marie Brown; her husband Rufus Glenn "Buddy" Collins, Sr.; and her sisters, Inez Johnson, Mae Brown, Loretta Ashley, Kathleen Jones and Tessie Collins.

She is survived by: her sons, Rufus Glenn Collins, Jr. (Janet) of Graham and Randy Ray Collins (Linda Greene) of Oak Ridge, NC.; her grandchildren, Dustin, Dalton and Dakota Collins; her great grandchildren, Natalie and Payne Collins; her sister Lula Brooks of Athens, GA.; her niece Rita Johnson; and her brother Buddy Brown.
