He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram F. Heathcote and Mildred Jennings Conley; and his wife Linda Ann Cox Heathcote. He is survived by: his children, Julie Joyce (Stan) of Winston-Salem and Bert Heathcote (April) of Elon; his grandchildren, Meghan Martin, Samantha Joyce, Lyndsey Heathcote and Brayden Heathcote; and his great grandchild Macy Martin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice or a humane society of the donor's choice in memory of Butch.
