It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Mae Collins Cheek (Graham, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on May 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ross Cheek; her parents, George Russell Collins and Mary Corder Collins; her son Donald Earl Cheek; and her daughter-in-law Sonia Owens Cheek.
She is survived by: her children, Gaynelle Tidwell (Jerome) of Alamance County, Novella Sparrow (George) of Alamance County, Mary Holmes (Jimmy) of Alamance County, Dewey Cheek of Alamance County, John Cheek of Alamance County, George Cheek of Alamance County and Carol Childress (Frankie) of Alamance County; and her brother Harvey Collins of Allentown, PA.. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren.
