With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Carolyn Bruner of Graham, North Carolina, born in Pungoteague, Virginia, who passed away on September 19, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stewart E. Sturgis and Marian Fletcher Sturgis; and her brothers, Glen Sturgis, Bobby Sturgis and Jack Sturgis (Ann).
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Bruner (Michelle), Elizabeth, Sarah of Cary, NC., Melissa Rimmer (Brad) of Burlington, NC., Traci Cook (Jason), Owen and Talan of Graham, NC.; and her siblings, Marilyn Loftis (Gary) of Virginia Beach, VA and Gordon Sturgis (Faye) of Exmore, VA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
