She was predeceased by: her parents, Alson T. Davis and Lenora Edwards Davis. She is survived by: her husband Reid Abernathy; her son Gary Miller of Elon; and her stepdaughter Rita Husmann of Snohomish, WA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
