He was predeceased by: his spouse Christine Ann Gorrell Matlock; his parents, Alan William Matlock and Helen Morgan Matlock; and his stepdaughter Sharon Pearl (Mike Pearl). He is survived by: his sister Ruth M. Pavlak (Sam) of Carrollton, Texas; his stepson David Williams of Graham; and his close friend Gary Markwood of Baltimore. He is also survived by five sisters in law; two brothers in law; many nieces and nephews.
