He was predeceased by: his former wife Donna Heird Lewis; his grandson Robert Glenn Lewis II; and his siblings, Doris L. Poole, Evelyn L. Godley, Lyn L. Troxler, Bill Lewis, Sr. and Stanley Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Lewis of Goldston and Marcia Lewis Howell (Wayne) of Acworth, GA; his grandchildren, Daniel Driggers, Tanner Howell and Asher Howell; his siblings, Curtis Lewis (Sue) of Knightdale, Frances L. Cooke of Raleigh, Janet L. Hardee (Henry) of Shallotte and Faye L. Hurst (Julian) of Apex; and his sister-in-law Mary Frances Lewis of Raleigh.
