She is survived by: her nephew Steven Dowdy; her children, Gwendolyn Cotten Thompson of Sanford, NC, Pandora Cotten Paschal (Jerry) of Goldston, NC, John Fitzgerald Cotten (Peggy) of Cameron, NC and Darren Christopher Cotten (Vicky); her grandchildren, Brandon Cotten (Val) of Spring City, PA, Brittany Archer of Enola, PA, Jasmine Thompson of Sanford, NC, Tiffany Cotten of Goldsboro, NC, Christie Cotten of Cameron, NC, Faith Paschal of Goldston, NC, Bryce Cotten of Hershey, PA and Brian Thompson of Sanford, NC; her great grandchildren, Blake Archer, Braxton Archer, Matteo Cotten, Carter Thompson and Caiden Thompson; her sisters, Hannah Johnson of Bowie and Delma Murdock (Fred) of Greensboro, NC; her sisters-in-law, Bertha Dowdy of Suwanee, GA and Mallie Annette Jones of Chapel Hill, NC; and her uncle Deacon Earl Thompson of Sanford, NC.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, church family, friends, and her caregivers.
