She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl McMillan and Blanche Draughn McMillan. She is survived by: her husband Bailey Pigford; her daughter Carla Peters; her brother Bobby McMillan of Siler City; her grandson Charles Petrosso (Christy); and her great grandchild Sullivan.
A reception was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joyce-Brady Chapel (3833 Chatham St, Bennett, NC 27208). Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Sanford Church (2105 Pathway Dr, Sanford, NC 27330).
