She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gray and Vera Jane Gardner Gray of Fuquay, NC.; her husband Cecil Harlee Joyner; her daughter Deborah "Debbie" Jane Joyner McLendon; and her siblings, Mildred Gray, Gladys Stephens, Sylvia Lee, Gordon, Wilton, Hurshell, Shelton, David and Tommy Gray.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Michael Eugene McLendon; and her grandchildren, Chris McLendon (Gerri McLendon) and Sydnie McLendon Bill (David Bill).
