With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Larry West of Goldsboro, North Carolina, born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on November 8, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lloyd West and Helen James West; and his sister Sherri Godwin. He is survived by: his sisters, Kay Walker and Linda Daniels (Foy); and his nieces and nephews, Wendy Martinez, David Davis, Foy Daniels Jr. (Lisa), Eric Daniels, Roger Daniels and Amanda Nalley.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
