It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Glenn Mewborn (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Warren and Rosa Darden Mewborn; and his wife Wilma Gaynell Holmes. He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie M. (Robert Steven Hames) and Pamela M. (Howard Smith); his granddaughter Amy Hames Jackson; his great grandchildren, Arianna Jackson and Alex Greenfield; his sister Ann Mewborn Smith; and also, Felicia Overton, Denise Turnage, Skeeter Morris and Tarus Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
