He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Leo Starddard and Martha Pearl Stafford Grant. He is survived by: his daughter Vanessa Starddard Rivenbark (Billy) of Goldsboro; his half-sisters, Nancy Howell of Grantham, Patricia Lucas (Roland) of Black Creek and Wanda Lynn Grant of Asheville; his nieces, Lisa Francis, Michelle McGaw, Amy Bunn, Carmen Chapman and Maranda Johns; his nephew Brian Lucas; his granddaughter Taylor Rivenbark Cavenaugh (Greg); and his great grandchild Crew James Cavenaugh.
