It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vira Naomi Taylor (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wilson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Howell and Nancy Barnes Howell; her husband George Taylor; her son David Taylor; and her brother Dallas Howell (Vivian) of Colorado.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Martin Taylor of Whittakers and Phyllis Davis (Mickey) of Pikeville; and her daughter-in-law Cindy Taylor of Kenly. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
