He is survived by: his wife Virginia Starnes; his daughter Tanya Byrn (David Byrn) of Tampa, Florida; his stepson Craig Herring (Rita Herring) of O'Fallon Illinois; his grandchildren, Erin Arent of Tampa Florida, David Byrn Jr., Taylor Herring and Andrew Mullinax; and his great grandchildren, Daniel Arent, Sebastian Arent, Emmanuelle Byrn, Benjamin Arent, Henry Arent and Everly Arent.
