He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephus Ivey and Pearl Hubbard Ivey; and his sister Ruby Ivey Davis. He is survived by: his wife Erna Ivey; his children, David A. Ivey (Lyndee) and Pamela J. Ivey Grantham (Tony); his grandchildren, Meredith R. Blakeley (Matt), Taylor A. Grantham (Ashley), Rachel I. Grantham, Noah R. Grantham (Lillie), Katherine L. Maldonado (Hayden), Jeremy Ivey (Christina) and Joshua A. Ivey; his great grandchildren, Peyton Grantham, Nora Grantham, Lynley Grantham, AnnaRay Blakeley, Evelyn Blakeley, Harrison Blakeley and Jeremy Ivey, Jr.; and his siblings, Jane Ivey Rose, Norwood Ivey and Donald W. Ivey (Nora).
After state retirement, Ted became involved with RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program) and as a volunteer working with the Disabled American Veterans Organization.
