She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Swinson and Sarah Hall Swinson. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Horne; her daughter LaSonya Woodom (Thomas) of Goldsboro, NC; her sisters, Minnie S. Williamson, Madie S. Carter of Augusta, GA and Glenda S. Carter of Goldsboro, NC; her niece Nita Barnes of Charlotte, NC; and her stepchildren, Ronnie Horne, Douglas Horne, Jr. and Angela H. Washington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church (1314 Ben Brewington Ct, Goldsboro, NC 27530). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
