He was predeceased by: his parents, Johannes G. Schaberg and Kate L. Schaberg. He is survived by: his wife Gloria A. Schaberg; his children, Yvonne L. Schaberg of Raleigh, John W. Schaberg of Columbia, SC, Eric S. Schaberg of Wilmington and Annette D. Woodard of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Brock, Jordan, Derek, Zack, Nick, Lauren and Megan; and his great grandchildren, Rory, Hank and Rowan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Goldsboro.
