She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Lee Pittman and Mary Louise Radford Pittman; her husband William Rowe "Bill" Rains; and her siblings, Janice Cox and Jack Radford Pittman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Myra Yeatts of Sumpter, SC and Jay Paul Pittman of Chesapeake, VA; her children, Steve Rains (Lois) of Goldsboro, Debbie Rains Davis (Will Davis) of Southport, Tim Rains (Julie) of Winston-Salem and Rusty Rains of Atlantic Beach; her grandchildren, Amanda Rains Hegarty (David) of Cary, Jessica Rains Legan of Garner, Stephanie Rains Sugg (Jason) of Raleigh, Samuel Rowe Rains (Lindsey) of Puxico, MO, Henry Hall "Hank" Rains of Denver, CO, Ariel Rains Pattillo (Chase) of New Bern and Abigail Rains of Clayton; and her great grandchildren, Adrian, Ava, Jackson, Lily, Jenna, Claire and Lorelei. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
