He is survived by: his children, Bobby Midkiff (Susie) and Robin Midkiff Carver; his siblings, Steve Midkiff (Charlotte) and Susie Dodson (De); his granddaughter Amanda Carver Whitehurst (Matthew); his great grandchild Connor Banks Whitehurst; and his daughters, Shelby, Emily and Ashley Payret.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Shumate - Faulk Funeral Service Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). The military honors was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park.
