With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Adolphus Bell in Goldsboro, North Carolina, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024 at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolphus Abram and Virginia Hardison Bell; his son-in-law Bill Gibbons; and his granddaughter Abbey Gibbons. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Alford Bell; his children, Jeffrey Bell (Amanda Duncan) and Emily Bell Gibbons (Christopher Tebo); his grandchildren, Finnegan Bell, Teague Bell, Will Gibbons, Cullen El Jaouhari, Teagan El Jaouhari, Vivian Tebo and Eleanor Tebo; his sister Linda Thigpen (George); his brother-in-law Wayne Alford (Donna); his nieces, Beth Edmonds and Jennifer Jones; and his nephew Mark Thigpen.
