She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Aaron Cooper and Alice Mae Sipfle Newcomb; and her daughter Michele Strickland. She is survived by: her husband James Cruse; her children, Jamie Fields (Michael) of Goldsboro, Nicole Daniel (Jeremy) of Clinton, Allen Cruse (Yescia) of Pink Hill and Justin Cruse (Cari) of Goldsboro; her brother Bobby Cooper (Nancy Whitfield); her close friend Teresa Richardson; her cousin Alison Creekmore; her grandchildren, Briley, Farah, Marlo, Madison, Abby, Piper, Adonis, Da'Shawn, Diamond and Mason; and her great grandchildren, Adelina and Elena.
