She was predeceased by: her father William Frank Hicks; and her grandparents, Casper, Geraldine Hicks, Clifton and Dorothy Sullivan.
She is survived by: her mother Mary Susan Sullivan Hicks of Goldsboro; her husband Phil James; her daughters, Rebecca James Cann (Trevor) and Joanna James; her grandson Peyton Cann; and her siblings, Larry Hicks (Melissa), Garry Hicks (Vickie), William Hicks and Frances Mandeville (Marc). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins she loved.
