Melba Ginn Ward Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2024, at the age of 89, Melba Ginn Ward (Goldsboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred Ginn and Ruby Grant Ginn; her brother Russell "Buddy" Ginn; her husband Daniel Alex Ward, Sr.; and her son James Craig Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Allison Ward (Fuller) and Dan Ward, Jr. (Charlene); her grandchildren, Allison Ward Royal, Sarah Royal Southerland (Josh), Lillie Royal Chapman (Christopher) and Natalie Grant Royal; her great grandchild Catherine Ellie Southerland; her siblings, A. Stephen Ginn (Sharon) and Sandra Keeney (Robert); her sister-in-law Blois Ginn; her caregivers, Connie Ellis, Lucy Jones, Sheldia Miller, Gail Blackwell and Annette McPherson; her close friends, Suzette Evatt, Rachel Hinnant and Nell Goforth Wiggins; and also, Annette Eissens and Joe Washburn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
