He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Rich and Dannie Rich; his wife Marjorie Thompson Rich; and his daughter Kitty Diane Whitehead. He is survived by: his children, Dawn Michelle Rich Manning (Scott) of Winterville and Nicky Dwight Taylor (Cheryl) of Hookerton; and his grandchildren, Peyton Cross Manning (Michael), Chris Manning (Eden), Stephen McDonald (Miranda), Stephanie T. Brogden (Edward) and Melissa Thifault. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Seymour Funeral Home (1300 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
