He is survived by: his wife Dolores Sauls Hood; and his children, Manfred J. Hood, Jr. (Gail), Doug Hood (Carol), Brad Hood (Elizabeth) and Lou Braithwaite (Gavin). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
