Mailande Bishop Schrum Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mailande Bishop Schrum (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Harmon Bishop and Ruby Kinard Bishop; and her husband Dr. Sidney Brower Schrum. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Schrum of Deltona, Sidney Schrum Jr. of Ocala and Phillip Schrum (Holly) of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.; and her grandchildren, Mariah Schrum, Daniel Schrum, David Schrum, Matthew Schrum, Samuel Schrum and Anna Schrum.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Willow Dale Cemetery (306 E Elm St, Goldsboro, NC 27530).
The family requests no flowers and memorials be made to St. Paul Methodist Church, the National Humane Society, or Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
