We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2024, at the age of 62, Luther Christopher Barnes (Goldsboro, North Carolina), born in Wayne County, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William "Pete" Barnes; and his sister Lynne Sugg. He is survived by: his mother Linda Vail Barnes; his siblings, Melinda Mercer (Neal), Tina Mitchell (Kevin), April Etheridge (Charles DisDier), Amber Truelove (David), Aimee Barnes, Ashlyn Hines (Duncan), William Page Barnes, Jr., Timothy Barnes (Lisa), Mark Barnes and Lance Barnes; and his niece Brittney Miller (Chris). He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to Cherry Hospital to the The Cherry Foundation P.O. Box 1424 1401 W. Ash Street Goldsboro, NC 27533-1424 in memory of Chris.
