She was predeceased by: her parents, Chesley King and Monnie King of Holly Ridge, N. C.; her husband Leland Wallace; and her siblings, Matoaka King Westbrook, Virginia King Gurganus, Velinzer King and E. C. King.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Edwards of Clinton and Cathy Wallace Crumpler (Joe Crumpler) of Mount Olive; and her granddaughter Sarah Crumpler of Mount Olive. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leland Jackson Wallace and Vitishie King Wallace Endowed Scholarship at the University of Mount Olive.
