She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie Aaron McLamb and Beatrice Leary McLamb; her husband Samuel Hudson Wells; and her siblings, Alta Clements and Robert McLamb.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Rose Proffitt (Joe), Samuel Eugene Wells (Connie), Mark Aaron Wells and David Pender Wells (Abigail); her grandchildren, Andy Proffitt, Jason Proffitt, Brittany Proffitt Bridget Heise (Enoch), Abigail McCloud (Kyle), Christina Fleming (Jeremy), Aaron Wells (Samantha), Rebekah Wells and Daniel Wells; and her great grandchildren, Nehemiah, Miriam, Ezra, Selah Heise, Magnolia, James and Cora Leigh Wells. She is also survived by nephews and many cousins.
