He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie B. Gurley and Lou Ellen Hare Gurley; his brothers, Jesse William Gurley and Simon Joseph Gurley; and his sister-in-law Annie Pearl Gurley.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Carraway Gurley; his children, Shannon Gurley Walker (Craig) of Winterville and Scott Gurley (Stephanie) of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Hayleigh Walker and Joshua Walker; and his brother Wayne Garland Gurley (Brenda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Greg's memory to the East Coast Gospel Music Association c/o ECGMA at 2065 Woodard Road, Princeton NC 27569.
