She is survived by: her children, Burnetta Barnes, Brian Thompson Sr. (Shshauna), Albert Bell (Lakishia), Christopher Bell and Aquaveous Cogdell; her grandchildren, Burnie Best (Mia), Douglas Best Jr., Na'tiana Barnes, Brian Thompson Jr., Justin Thompson, Imani George, Michael Bell and Zariya Bell; her great grandchildren, Burnie Best Jr. and Amora Lee Best; her siblings, Doniel Cogdell (Dorothy), Curtis Cogdell and Sandra Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Flowers (Brad), Tyrone Cogdell (Avonya) and Demetris Cogdell (Crystal).
