He is survived by: his children, Johnny Glenn Herring (Jodi) of Minnesota, Regina Herring of Mount Olive, Wanda Kay Churchill (Tim) of Emerald Isle and Timothy Ray Herring (Jennifer) of Clover, SC; his sisters, Mary Hicks of Georgia and Lou Ellen Carrell of Mount Olive; his grandchildren, Emily Perlbach (Allen), Matthew Herring (Leslie), Nicolas Herring (Jewell), Anna Bennett, Ashley Bennett, Kayla Churchill Shively (Jonathan), Kristin Churchill, Timothy Herring (Tayler), Natalie Herring, Christopher Herring, Sophia Herring and Allyson Herring; and his great grandchildren, Caden Perlbach, Austin Perlbach, Mason Perlbach, Maeve Herring, Maverick Churchill Shively and Oliver Herring. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
