He is survived by: his wife Brenda Jackson; his children, William R. Renn (Vickie), Clifton Bryant Renn (Andrea Williams) and Tara Renn Deviney (Richard); his brother James Bennett Renn (Di); his grandchildren, Matt Simpson, Jacob Simpson, Daniel Deviney, Jordan Deviney, Gabe Gurley, Christian Renn, Kaitlyn Williams, Dakota Haswell, Matthew Renn, Rachel Renn, Michael Whitley, Jennifer Beasley and Kelly Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Madison Beasley, Kayla Beasley, Lance Edwards, Anna Lloyd, Ellie Renn, Violett Renn, Emerson Renn, Phoenix Renn, Micah Whitley and Mila Whitley.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home (2873 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wayne Memorial Park (2925 US-117, Dudley, NC 28333).
