He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gray and Mary Delle Sherman Giddens; and his siblings, William "Buddy" Giddens, Freda Moore and Sylvia Stallings.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Giddens; his children, Brian Giddens (Brittany) of Grantham, Kim Jackson, Amanda Giddens of Goldsboro and Michelle Giddens of Goldsboro; his siblings, Charles Giddens (Nancy) of Willard, NC., Sharon Hilton of Warsaw and Jean Puderbach (Jack) of Turkey, NC.; his grandchildren, Hannah Keen (Matt), Beverly Jackson, Tyler Giddens (Morgan), Nathan Giddens (Courtney), Zach Giddens (Kaitlyn), Brianna Giddens and Emma Gore; and his pet Muffin. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Howell Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel (1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534).
