He is survived by: his daughters, Kenyeta Owens of Fayetteville, NC, Tomorro Brunson of Roseboro, NC and Tymiraca Brunson of Clinton, NC; and his siblings, Fannie Charlene Brunson of Roseboro, NC, Lorraine B. Brunson of Clinton, NC and Wilbert Brunson of Goldsboro, NC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 1 great - grandchild.
