It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julie Talton Bridgers (Goldsboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bryant Talton and Eula Purnell Talton; her husband Walter Thomas "Tombo" Bridgers; her daughters, Mary Scott Bridgers and Molly Carr Bridgers; her sister Linda Talton Newell; and her siblings-in-law, Catherine Bridgers Moore, Brutus Stalling Bridgers, Dover Gladstone Moore and Charles Stephens Norwood.
She is survived by: her grandson David Thomas Odom; her niece Sherry Bush Stafford (DeNeal); her sisters-in-law, Nancy Bridgers Norwood, Barbara Bridgers Garey (George) and Lillian Overman Bridgers; her niece Anne Garey Prosperi; and her great-nephew Bryant Edward Stafford. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
