She was predeceased by: her mother Julia Hooks Overman; her brother Fred Lemuel Overman; her nephew Fred Overman; and her aunt Aileen Hooks. She is survived by: her husband Peter Aycock; her sons, Paul Aycock (April) and Stephen Aycock (Tyla); her grandchildren, Madison Aycock West (Lee), Evan Aycock (Emily), Nicholas Aycock (Anna Seguin) and Cameron Aycock; her sisters, Betty Wiggins and Faye Jones; and her sister-in-law Sylvia Overman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given in her memory to Nahunta Friends Church, 2537 NC 581 North, Pikeville, NC 27863.
