She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hadie Atkinson and Verler Strickland; her daughter Marion Atkinson; her grandchildren, Rodney Atkinson of Goldsboro, NC and Brittany Atkinson of Goldsboro, NC; and her siblings, Bernice Simmons, James Atkinson, Thomas Atkinson and Timothy Atkinson of Goldsboro, NC. She was also cherished by five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and other loving relatives and friends.
