She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Jonas Jones and Frankie Napier Jones; her spouse Willie Jones Summerlin Sr. The; and her siblings, Noah Jones, Geraldine Wray, Lucy Goodman and Betty Weeks.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Summerlin Jr. (Donna Cannon) of Goldsboro and Brenda Summerlin Taylor of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Trey Summerlin of Goldsboro, Brittney, Derek Adler of Charlotte and Nicholas Summerlin of Wilmington; her great grandchildren, Ava, Alivia Summerlin of Goldsboro, Jack and Henry Adler of Charlotte; and her daughter Linda Juba of Goldsboro.
